Review: Pearl Drops Hollywood Smile Whitening Toothpaste

Now, you may remember from my Colgate Max White One reviewย that I have basically been on a lifelong mission to get whiter teeth. It’s almost an obsession, most likely sparked from spending lots of time staring at the perfectly white gnashers of the celebrities who can afford to spend thousands achieving their look. I, on the other hand, cannot, which is why I love to try the latest drugstore whitening toothpastes and hope for the best.

This post will be a review of the Pearl Drops Hollywood Smile Whitening Toothpaste:

Pearl Drops Hollywood Smile Whitening Toothpaste

Look at those gorgeous teeth on the packaging! Now, I’m not naive enough to believe that the product could ever work that well, but I was hoping for some of the promised results, specifically the promise of ‘2 shades whiter teeth in 3 weeks’

Now I was sceptical to say the least – 2ย shades whiter in just 3ย weeks? I decided to give it a fair go, and set out by ‘measuring’ the whiteness of my teeth using the chart provided.

I set about using the toothpaste, and didn’t notice any improvement after the first week. After two weeks, I still hadn’t seen much happening on the whitening front…especially compared to the Colgate toothpaste, which worked quite well, I was disappointed.

After the full three weeks, I can honestly say that my teeth were no whiter than when I started. I would even go as far as to say they looked less white, but that may have been because I was expecting to see at least some change when I looked in the mirror. I know that these products don’t work miracles, but even a little change would have been nice to see.

Sorry Pearl Drops, this product gets the thumbs down from me.

Have you tried any whitening toothpastes that worked well for you? Let me know!

Hi Chayz, I have used the Pearl Drops too but didn’t think much of it, I’ve also tried a few others but they never seem to work. Then a while ago I had to use some cheap value toothpaste that we had spare from Tesco, because I’d ran out of my usual one and couldn’t get to the shops. Anyway it’s brilliant! Iv’e really seen a difference in the past month, my teeth are definately whiter and I really like the actual toothpaste too, it was only about 27p or something ridiculasly cheap like that, there’s no real smell and it actually works! I’ll find out the proper name and price if you like!? Have a great weekend! Hugs, Dani ๐Ÿ™‚

I have tried this one too and NO results. I was so mad at first because I thought it would really help, but anyway…recently I`ve seen a commercial to another ‘revolutionary’ product, called White Smile, it is some sort of pen, and I promised myself this is the LAST one I am going to buy. I really hope this one works, there were some people saying they`ve seen a great difference after one week, so I think I will give it a shot ๐Ÿ™‚ If you find anything, or tried something that you think was worth it, please let me know ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don’t trust any whitening stuff. 10 minutes straight of teeth-brushing is how I attempt to get white teeth. Although it doesn’t really matter all that much for me anyways since I have braces D:

Also, hate to be nitpicky, but you spelled “skeptical” wrong. Just as a heads-up ๐Ÿ™‚
