Review: MUA Professional Extreme Metallics Smokin Quad

Fellow bloggers: you know that feeling when you think you’ve posted about something but you actually haven’t? That has been the case with theΒ MUA Professional Extreme Metallics Smokin Quad! I’ve been loving this product for a little while now and was certain that I’d blogged about it, but apparently I haven’t!

MUA Professional Extreme Metallics Smokin Quad

Now, I have tried MANY smokey eye palettes, trios and quads over the last couple of years, so this product was going to have to seriously impress me to make an impact. The smokey eye look is my all-time favourite make up look to achieve, so the quad was really put to the test!

The colours look great in the pan – from the light highlight shade to the deep black, it seems to contain everything you need to create an intense, smokey and simply gorgeous eye make up look.

I actually used the quad to create a make up look on a recent night out, but unfortunately I just can’t find the photos I took before heading out – you might just have to use your imagination! Instead, I have swatched the colours for you:

WOW! Talk about pigmented! It’s almost hard to believe that this quad retails for just Β£2.99. Can you believe it?

From my night out, I can recall that the eyeshadow still looked amazing when I came home – I had used the MUA Eyeshadow Primer underneath. I always try to give a balanced review, looking at both positives and negatives…but I just can’t find anything bad to say about these shadows!

Have you tried any of the MUA eyeshadows? What do you think?

Stay Creative,

Ooh, I have this one! (and three others…like these a lot, lol) I use the black and the two silvers the most, but you’re right in that everything is pigmented. Plus, it looks more expensive than it is.

I love this set of shadows, and the MUA shadow palettes, they have some really stunning colours.

What wonderful colors! Why not get here as high quality makeup? I wish I was born in USA or England πŸ™

      Awww πŸ™ x

The makeup here are quality with medium / low and prices are very high. Products such as that published now, or Mac or Sephora, and that kind of mark, I can only get them through, but the price is too high, plus the cost of shipping, since I’m in the interior of the province of Buenos Aires and things go double or triple their original value (as and how to get these products) :S

      Aww that is a shame πŸ™ x

Wow. I really envy you, Chyaz .__: In England you seem to have pretty high quality drugstore products, whereas here in Germany drugstore makeup has a rather low quality (not all, of course). And that can be quite a problem, if you want really good products. So you actually have to buy high end makeup like Mac or Shiseido ^^’

Ahh, that is a shame! I hope some good brands launch soon x

Oh how lovely! Like you, I’ve tried a heap of smokey eye palettes, most of them don’t live up to my expectations. I’m headed to the UK soon- I’m going to stock up on MUA cosmetics!

Wow! It really looks gorgeous!! Do you think I can find MUA in Canada? I’m Brazilian, but I’ll do an exchange next year to Canada, I’m so excited! πŸ˜€
