When I was deciding on the themes for my Halloween tutorials this year (although there have only been two!) I wanted to create fun, easy and do-able looks for my YouTube viewers to re-create. I had always thought the idea of being a pumpkin for Halloween was so cute, and thought that I would film a tutorial for that look!
My tutorial video was posted yesterday and I have loved the reaction to it so far! The look was really simple to achieve too. All I used was:
- Smiffy’s Face Paint in Orange
- Smiffy’s Face Paint in Black
- MAC Smoulder Eyeliner
- Black Mascara
- Green Liquid Eyeliner
- Slim Make Up Brush
I simply wet my sponge and applied the orange face paint in a round shape – like a pumpkin! I used the black face paint, with the make up brush, to draw the concave lines on my face to give it more of a rounded look. I then used the same brush and paint to create the triangular eyes and nose, and the jagged mouth. Finish off the eyes with mascara and black eyeliner on the waterlines. Then, take your green liquid eyeliner (mine was by Wet n Wild) and draw your stalk near the top of your head. Ta da!
It’s such a cute look to achieve – imagine how adorable it would look with a pumpkin costume?!
Here are a few photos from the finished look:
