Review: GOSH Nail Glitter in Blue Sapphire

I rarely blog twice in one day, but you know that feeling of finding an amazing product and wanting to tell everyone you know about it? I well and truly have that feeling as I type!

In Superdrug earlier today, I was browsing the make up isle and something glittery caught my eye – the new GOSH Nail Glitter pots. They come in a range of gorgeous colours (including gold, silver, red, lilac…) but I couldn’t resist the gorgeous Blue Sapphire.

I’m going to be completely honest – I wasn’t expecting a lot from this product. Yes, I was excited about how pretty it looked in the packaging, but practically I didn’t think it would live up to much. “Gimmick” is the word the immediately sprung to mind, but nevertheless I decided to give it a whirl!

I started with nails that had already been painted the day before – coincidentally, they were blue to begin with! I though that it would make a good base for the glitter if it turned out to be a bit dodgy.

I then took a clear nail polish to act as the adhesive. I painted my thumb first, and almost immediately dipped it into the glitter pot. I waited a few seconds before drawing my nail out – the results were amazing! I grabbed an old eyeshadow brush that I now use for nails and swept excess glitter away from the nail and surrounding skin. The finish was phenomental – not a gap in sight! I finished the hand, and this is how it looked!

I don’t think a photo can do justice to how incredible the nails look and how well this product works. Another fabulous thing about it is that the pot was just £3.99! I know you could argue that it’s just glitter, but it has been specially formulated for use on nails and you can really tell. 10/10 – I would recommend to anyone!

Wow! It looks absolutely amazing! I wish there was a site online where US residents could buy UK products. 🙁 I have some purple embossing glitter that I use for art projects, so I might try it for this! I love your posts!
