I’m not the best person in the world at spotting dupes for products, but when I came across this little beauty, I couldn’t resist posting about it! I’m a huge fan of anything pink and glittery (if you hadn’t noticed!) and when my lovely friend Georgie showed me her Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Catfight, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one!
After searching around the internet, and finding out that they retail for around £13, I was a little horrified – could I justify spending that much on a ‘special occasion’ eyeliner? I wasn’t so sure, to had a trip to Superdrug to see if I could find an alternative!
I was in luck, in a big way: as soon as I saw the Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner in No.8 Dancing Queen, I knew I’d found a true dupe!
The photo doesn’t do the gorgeous colour justice – it is the hottest of hot pinks and packed to the brim with glitter. Heaven!
I wore this gorgeous eyeliner on a night out, over smokey black eyeshadow, and absolutely loved it! I just kept it really close to my lashline and it added a subtle but magical sparkle.
And I haven’t even mentioned the price yet! This gorgeous eyeliner cost me just £2.99 – that is a huge saving on the Urban Decay eyeliner! Having used both, I can honestly say that they lasted just as long as each other and looked great all night.
There’s nothing like a good dupe, or a good bargain!
