My Regular Skincare Routine

I getย approximatelyย 8 million comments a day (possibly a slight exaggeration…) asking me about my daily, regular skincare routine. I have to admit that, being the ‘face’ of Simple, I’m lucky enough to be able to try all of their new products, and I get easily hooked to different ones. That means that my daily skincare routine changes, and it’s tricky to keep you guys updated through videos as 2 million (again…) different skincare tutorials won’t make for interesting viewing. So, on my blog, I will update you every now and again on my current skincare routine – I do have to say that it will always involve Simple products, as I swear by them ๐Ÿ™‚

Morning

Simple Foaming CleanserThis is an example of where I have become obsessed with a new Simple product – I find that the Foaming Cleanser wakes me up in the morning, and makes my skin gorgeously smooth. It’s also quite fun to use too – the pump makes it feel quite novel, which appeals to the child in me!!

Simple Sun Kissed Moisture CreamI have to admit that this was an unexpected skincare obsession – I never though I’d be attracted to a product that builds a slight tan, but once I got a little colour into my face I never looked back. This is perfect for the lead-up to the summer, and also provides great moisturisation without feeling heavy. Amazing!

Evening

Simple Cleansing WipesYou guys all know that I’m a fan of mascara and a bit of eyeliner, and a girl has to take it off before bed (trust me, it makes such a difference!) I usually take the wipe, cleanse my face with it and then go ahead and remove my make up. Once I’ve used the wipe to cleanse, I splash my face with warm water. Note: this is what I do on a daily basis, but I also make sure I deep cleanse with the Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub twice a week at night too.

Simple Soothing Toner

Toning isn’t something I’ve always done, as I found that some brands made my skin feel clogged, greasy and oily. Luckily the Simple toners don’t do that – this one leaves my skin feeling fresh and pores tightened, which is an odd thing to describe but you can really feel it!

Simple Hydrating Light MoisturiserFinally, a moisturiser before bed is essential as it is when your skin is repairing itself ready for the next day. This one is great as it is super light and doesn’t feel heavy before you go to bed.

I hope that has helped those of you who were wondering! I will do an updated routine whenever it changes drastically enough to need it.

Products mentioned: Simple Vital Vitamins Foaming Cleanser, Simple Sun Kissed Moisture Cream, Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes, Simple Soothing Facial Toner and Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser.

Stay Creative,

so i was wondering why it is good to take off eye makeup, like eyeliner and mascara? i know foundation can clog the pores but i didn’t think eye makeup made a difference?

There are a few reasons for taking off eye make up that I’ve found ๐Ÿ™‚ if you sleep on mascara, it can go super hard on your lashes over night, and when you try to remove it you could end up pulling lashes out – not a good look! If you leave eyeshadow on, or your eyeliner smudges over your eyes when sleeping, it can steal essential moisture from your eye area which could cause wrinkles in the long run. All in all, it’s just better to sleep with fresh eyes ๐Ÿ™‚ xx
